The first appointment is a chance for us to discuss your reasons for seeking therapy now. It’s an opportunity to see if we are a good match as well as if my skills are appropriate to meet your clinical needs.

I offer both short and long term treatment. An average length for short term treatment is 1-6 sessions. Longer treatment may extend from 6 months to 1 year, or more depending on the degree of change you seek. You and I will regularly assess your progress and will modify treatment accordingly.

If we decide to work together, you will be charged for the first session at the next session. If you choose to not return, there is no charge for the initial meeting.

The best way to get a hold of me is by phone or email. I use a landline in the office and am not available to be contacted via text. If you’d prefer to start with email, that’s fine. However, to schedule, we’ll need to do that over the phone.

I am regularly in session with other clients, which sometimes makes phone calls hard to get to. The middle of the day is the best time to reach me live in the office. If I do miss a call from you, I will call you back shortly. I return all calls within 24 hours, except those left on Fridays or weekends. Friday or weekend calls will be returned on the following Monday.
